Jack and Connie Geist made a gift to CEDARS through their trust.
The story of Connie and Jack Geist is a story of love, marriage, family and community.
Born the daughter of a farm family and the son of a homemaker and telephone company man, Connie and Jack grew up understanding that kindheartedness and compassion are essential to a happy life.
CEDARS has been a part of the Geist family beginning with Jack's father, who started giving many years ago. Connie served on CEDARS board beginning in 1996 and chaired the annual dinner for years.
In addition, they raised six children, one of whom adopted Connie and Jack when she needed a safe and stable home following her stay at CEDARS.
"Each of our children is a blessing in their own special way," says Connie. "Yes, our family is a godsend," says Jack as they smile at each other with a deep and abiding affection that has stood the test of time.
The Geist family's longtime relationship with CEDARS inspired Connie and Jack to arrange a gift through their trust to someday benefit the children at CEDARS. Thank you, Geist family, for making CEDARS a part of your family!
